Queen Mother (aka Reina Madre) feminized seeds is a fast flowering Sativa known for its intense flavour, generous trichome production, and high yield.

Original Delicatessen fused Congo and Zamal landrace genetics to create this strain. The plants have a typical equatorial Sativa structure with spongy flowers, long resinous buds, and slim leaves. Unlike the strain Lilly, the Queen Mother plants grow quite tall and therefore have a higher yield. The harvest time is a longer however and some plants may flower beyond the usual 8 weeks. A suitable strain for training such as LST or SCROG. Outdoors they develop a very large central cola and respond well to pruning, with a yield of approx. 700 gr per plant. Due to their size they require adequate nutrients. A warm or tropical climate is best.

The buds smell and taste rather spicy, with a herbal and sweet-sour note. But you can also find citrus, earthy and incense fragrances contributing to the old school taste, The long-lasting effect is mainly cerebral with a soaring sensation, that affects the body too, and has been described as 'mystical', introspective and motivational. Some medical users have reported benefits for eating disorders, pain management, autoimmune conditions and inflammation.
