Description

Athina Greek regular seeds is a very rare strain from the Serres-Macedonia region in northern Greece. This landrace variety has been cultivated there in the past 100 years on the slopes of the mountains and valleys. The mild mountain climate does not have harsh winters and temperatures rarely drop below 5°C. The summers always see some rainfall and are not too hot, in contrast to the otherwise dry climate throughout Greece.

The breeders at Tropical Seed Co. have invested time and resources to recover and stabilize the genetics. Athina Greek has homogeneous plants with 70-80% Indica genetics that most likely came from the Middle East (i.e. Lebanon, Syria) along the ancient trade routes. The buds have high quality resin and are ready to harvest in 8-10 weeks. Outdoor its best to grow the plants in a climate that's not too hot and arid. 

Athina Greek has a rich bouquet of sweet, spicy, lemonade and hash aromas. The effect is uplifting and has a balanced mind-body effect that is very pleasant.
