For this limited edition of regular seeds, we crossbred a prized Satori Elite male with the rare Mozambique Sativa, a landrace strain not easily found because of the challenge of sourcing seeds in the country of origin. Mozambique marijuana has a pleasant, uplifting high without the edgy or racy effects often associated with African Sativa's. Its psychoactive properties also make it an excellent stress reliever. With this hybrid, we aim to offer a balanced experience that delivers mental clarity, creativity, and positive energy. Incorporating our Satori Elite line enhances the spiritual vibe and genetic potential, producing buds with more flavour, potency, and resin output. The new hybrid also has a shorter flowering time and is less stretchy.
One standout feature of the landrace Mozambique Sativa is its remarkable resilience. This strain is well-adapted to withstand harsh conditions like heavy rain, strong winds, heat, and even drought. The plants are also highly resistant to certain types of pests, such as aphids, and are vigorous and nutrient-efficient. These traits blend perfectly with the Mandala genetics. The combined features make Mozambique Sativa x Satori Elite an excellent outdoor and guerilla strain. It can be grown in hot-dry and Mediterranean climates, warm-humid, and tropical regions. On the USDA plant hardiness map, this corresponds to zone 7-10. Growers in hot-tropical regions such as Hawaii, Thailand, and Australia will find it a promising strain. This high-yielding Sativa hybrid grows tall and should be started later in the outdoor season if you cultivate in containers or a greenhouse. You can also prune the plants for broad, bushy plants with abundant colas.
Indoor we observed healthy, vigorous growth under 200W white Pro-LED lamps. We use the LED lamps from Pure Factory (in our experience, the best brand in Europe). The seeds are easy to germinate and produce beautiful seedlings, just plant the seeds directly in seedling soil, or rockwool starter cubes for hydroponics.
To control height and shorten the cultivation period, we recommend starting the 12/12 light cycle three weeks after germination when growing in soil. Flowering can be initiated for cuttings after 2-3 weeks in soil/1-2 weeks in hydroponics. In grow tents, pruning may still be necessary to manage plant height. Optimal flowering results can be achieved with high lumens per m2, and we suggest using a 300-480W white LED or 400-600W HPS lamp. The Mozambique mother plant is a semi-domesticated strain that thrives under natural sunlight, so it's important to remember this when using LED lights. Not all cannabis strains flower well under LED, especially if the light intensity is low or mainly in the red spectrum. Be mindful of keeping your grow space at a cozy room temperature as well. Investing in the right lighting maximizes the potential of your cannabis plants.
Mozambique Sativa x Satori Elite delivers a stimulating cerebral high that enhances mental clarity and focus, making it perfect for boosting creativity and productivity. Traditionally, Mozambique Sativa is used by tribal healers for spiritual and healing purposes. Combined with Satori, the mind-expanding properties provide a chance to connect with a higher power and participate in meditative and health-promoting practices, such as immersing oneself in the beauty of nature.
The aroma is a delicious blend of terpenes featuring tropical notes like passion fruit layered with earthy, incense undertones. As the buds break open, hints of spice and pine emerge, adding a refreshing complexity to the bouquet that lingers long after the smoke.
