Description

Tank is a pure Indica landrace selection from the Tirah Valley in the Hindu Kush mountains of northern Pakistan, close to the Afghan border. Collected from a farmer's private backyard garden, Tank was selected by Sovereign Farmers for four key qualities: aroma, resilience, vigorous growth and exceptional trichome production.

The name fits the plant. Tank grows big, strong and imposing, developing into a vigorous plant with the sturdy structure to carry its substantial flower production. Among the Tirah plants observed during selection, this phenotype stood out for its sheer size, strength and overall performance.

Resin production is one of Tank's defining characteristics. The flowers become exceptionally frosty as they mature, with dense trichome coverage that sparkles intensely in the light. This abundant resin production reflects the traditional hashplant heritage of the Tirah Valley and makes Tank especially appealing for hash enthusiasts and breeders searching for resin-rich Hindu Kush genetics.

The aroma is powerful and unmistakably old-school. Heavy gas leads the profile, followed by earthy notes and the distinctive spicy fragrance of cardamom. The combination creates a rich gas-earth-spice terpene profile with plenty of depth and character.

The Tirah Valley lies at approximately 2,100 metres elevation in the rugged mountains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northern Pakistan.
