The sturdy side branches easily support their weighty, rounded buds, which are dense and have a high calyx-leaf ratio. Seriotica shows strong natural resilience against bud mold and mildew. As the plant matures, the foliage and flowers may display vibrant hues such as pink, crimson, and purple.
