Creating this unique strain took Romulan Genetics significant amount of time and effort to perfect. The goal was to develop a cultivar that could reach maturity quickly without sacrificing the quality of the final product at harvest. 

Some variations of Salty Pickle can be fully harvested in just 42 days when grown under LED lights in hydroponics. Others may take between 49-56 days, but these are rare outliers. It is highly recommended to search for specific phenotypes, as finding the perfect balance between flavour, potency, and finishing time can be well worth the extra dedication. 

The plants grow like a short, bushy Indica and have above average resistance against mildew and bud mold. Approximately half of the plants will have a fruity, menthol aroma, while others will surprise you with pickled brine, creating a truly remarkable scent and taste experience.

No matter your preference or harvest date, you will find excellent Indica-dominant effects among all plants with some possible exceptions of more hybrid effects (about 1 in 50). The majority will deliver a potent, heavy-hitting high that is long lasting, with unique and delicious flavours that are sure to become addictive

The breeders recommend growing all Romulan feminized seeds in the vegetative state until they have reached sexual maturity (stigmas beginning to show) before flowering them. Stabilization through cloning is also recommended for those who prefer that route. This minimizes the (rare) risk of plants showing some male flowers due to a stress reaction from abrupt light changes.
