Description

The Ethiopian is a pure tropical African Sativa, of great value and interest for Sativa lovers and preservationists.

This 100% sativa F1 hybrid was created by crossing a rare and exotic sativa from Mauritius islands (with a certain kinship to the Zamal Sativas from nearby Reunion Island) with the best 2nd generation Ethiopian Sativa parents.

The result is an extreme Sativa hybrid, with a tropical, wild and untamed profile. Tall, thin and languid plants, with slender and flexible stems, growing with spectacular vigour and branching. Certain expressions (especially when growing large plants in the ground) can develop foxtail colas that are so characteristic of the African Sativas from these Indian Ocean islands.

Mauritius x Ethiopian can also be grown indoors with strong light intensity and enough space for its development. Ace Seeds recommends switching to flowering after 15 days from seed, or starting from clones rooted for at least 7 days. A 11/13 light cycle boosts flowering and helps avoid reflowerings or excessive stretching in early flowering. This hybrid is suitable for SOG crops due to its great yield in the main cola, or for SCROG, horizontal or network growing, due to its excellent yield in the lateral branches and vigorous reaction to pruning.

The flowering phase begins slowly, although as it starts to mature this hybrid reveals all its true beauty and tropical Sativa essence. The pistils are extremely long, thin and beautiful. The calyxes are small size, but compact and with a good production of large trichomes. The reflowerings take place very suddenly in the middle of the bloom phase (with the right conditions of heat and strong light intensity), creating large and long, 'foxtail' branches with a very good calyx-leaf ratio. They allow proper air movement between the floral clusters, making it practically immune to fungi like botrytis in high humidity or rainy conditions.

Mauritius x Ethiopian is especially dedicated to the lovers of the most cerebral, euphoric, pure tropical Sativas without ceiling, and for outdoor cultivation in tropical or subtropical climates.

Cannabinoid analyses recently performed on this pure Ethiopian have shown a significant THCV content of 2%.

Very Nice!

The genetics from Mandala/ACE always seem to be of the highest quality! The Mauritius X Ethiopian is no exception. I live in America, but Mandala is the only establishment that I trust. Please support them! They're good people.

Mauritius = Zamal

IYKYK. The Mauritius plant that is used in this cross is one of 3 different zamals that originated with Gypsy Nirvana and Vibes Collective. Thanks to ACE for acquiring it and making it available. Very happy to have these super rare genetics in the library. The germ rare was very good. Special stuff. Very curious about the effects.
