Description

Killer A5 Haze is a new Sativa hybrid that has the potential to produce the most potent plants, with the highest amount of THC in the ACE Seeds catalogue.

A5 Haze is one of the rarest mothers (and probably the most powerful one) belonging to the family of Dutch elite clones of Haze hybrids that Nevil Schoenmakers developed at the end of the 1980's. This Northern Lights #5/Haze A mother is characterised by its extremely trippy and devastating potency, high yield, and its organic and meaty aromas of authentic Dutch 'Old School' Haze. The rarity of this A5 Haze mother is due to Nevil losing the Haze A male very early on, meaning that seeds were never produced in commercial quantities using this Haze A male.

With Killer A5 Haze the main goal was to create a Sativa dominant hybrid that would maintain (and even exceed) the extreme potency, high vigour and high yields of the A5 mother. Malawi has increased the THC content even further, reaching as high as 30% (the upper limit that cannabis plants can produce). At the same time resin production and trichome size wsa increased. The long flowering time of the A5 Haze was reduced without having to introduce Indica genetics. Despite its great Sativa vigour and high production, Killer A5 Haze grows with a manageable size, making it the Sativa hybrid with the highest production per m2 from Ace Seeds. This strain requires high light intensity indoors and warm-hot weather outdoor (up to 42°N).

There are four phenotypes in Killer A5 Haze.

- Haze dominant pheno: highest Colombian Sativa influence from the Haze A male, producing huge and beautiful colas with an excellent calyx-leaf ratio, which mature with elegant and delicate reflowerings. Woody and incensed aromas of pure Haze. Flowering time: 75-90 days.

- NL/Haze pheno: this pheno shows a greater Indica influence from Northern Lights, and therefore a smaller size, faster flowering and lower calyx-leaf ratio. It is also the most faithful to the characteristics of the original A5 Haze mother, producing rounded and very resinous flowers with a silver appearance. Incensed, meaty (liver) and organic aromas. Flowering time: 66-80 days.

- Haze/Malawi pheno: Sativa dominant and well balanced pheno in terms of displaying characteristics from both Haze A and Malawi parents. It produces huge, very dense colas, with an excellent calyx-leaf ratio. Incense and woody Haze aromas, with the oily and resinous background of Malawi. Flowering time: 75-85 days.

- Silverish Malawi pheno: monstrous Sativa phenotype with a greater Malawi influence. Incredibly high calyx-leaf ratio, very high production, with the classic huge trichomes of Malawi. An abundant resin production of silver appearance when mature, bringing the characteristics of Malawi Killer phenotypes to very extreme levels that have rarely been reached before. Flowering time: 75-85 days.

Extraordinarily powerful, complex, profound and long lasting high. Psychedelic beginning that completely changes visual, auditory and tactile perception, catapulting the psyche to new dimensions where there seems to be no tangible reality. As the effect develops, it produces an uncontrollable hilarity, later becoming more introspective and physical, producing strong dissociation of mind and body, and a strong final couch lock or immobility similar to opiates. Recommended only for the most experienced psychonauts. It can cause panic and/or complete physical debilitation to users with low tolerance or without experience with strong Sativa's of this calibre. Nothing will be ever the same after trying Killer A5 Haze.

KA5H second round

Round two with KA5H and this time I got a Malawi leaning phenotype. Started outside in B.C. mid-May and moved into tent under LED late August finished by end November. Really nice potent Sativa with big yield that makes the wait worth it.

Killer A5 Haze

Popped 1seed. After a slow start she is really taking off. I’m a little late going into flower with this beast. Will start in 9 days. The laterals are amazing. Looking forward to harvest. Woo la la

Please consider updating your review. You left a 1 star (lowest rating) but your feedback is quite positive and deserves a 4-5 star rating. Thanks & best of luck with the grow!

KA5H GT follow up review

Previous 5 star review was for Mandala seeds excellent service etc. so thought I'd add a follow up regarding the outcome in a B.C. Canada Sativa outdoor grow. My plan was to grow KA5H and GT outside till end of September then move into a tent under LED. The KA5H flipped into flower outside late August and GT followed later in September. They finished just before new years and wow, just what I was looking for in a Sativa and missing in most hybrids. I will move them into tent end of July the next time. Strain descriptions are accurate so give a long flowering Sativa a shot-well worth it and Mandala has some beauty strains available.

K A5 Haze

I have 4 Killer A5 Haze going outside in a Canadian BC summer. The weather has been cool and wet but wow! I started them later than the rest to deal with stretch when I move them into the tent in September and they have caught up. They are sturdy and at this point showing two distinct phenos- taller A5 hazy and broader leaf squat Malawi (??). Great looking plants.
