Description
Eboshi is a vigorous hybrid strain created from carefully selected plants found in the Swiss and Italian Alps. The initial strain had high levels of CBG, which were then crossed again to stabilize the offspring and boost CBG levels even further.
Eboshi has a remarkable CBD content, reaching up to 15% CBG. It also maintains low levels of both THC and CBD, never exceeding 0.2% each. In terms of appearance, it takes on an Indica-dominant structure with short internodes and plentiful branching. Its flowers are large and tightly packed together. Indoor the plants reach 1.3 meters (4.2 feet) with 3 weeks growth time.
Eboshi CBG also thrives in humid climates and is resilient against mold. Outdoors the plants can reach 2 meters (6.5 feet) and are ready to harvest end of September (late March in Southern Hemisphere). The buds are great for extracting CBG. The aroma contains fragrant notes of citrus and hints of fruit.
Eboshi CBG offers the opportunity to grow your own feminized CBG-rich buds for a reasonable price. Due to only 0.2% THC in this CBG strain the seeds and plants are legal in most countries, but be sure to consult local laws on the current status.
Scientists are researching possible benefits of CBG on cancer, neurodegeneration, colitis, inflammation, pain, and nausea. One of the more unique possibilities is that CBG may help with glaucoma by reducing intraocular pressure - something that cannot be accomplished with CBD on its own. There is also the possibility that CBG can be used for treating Huntington’s and other neurodegenerative conditions.
How to Use CBG Safely
As with most therapies, please be aware of any risks/side effects and interactions with medications you are already taking. Even if CBG strains are not psychoactive in the usual sense, its important not to underestimate the effects of a cannabinoid on your mind and body. Always start with the lowest dosage to test reaction. You may feel drowsy or unwell for some reason after ingesting CBG. It is not advisable to use cannabis products and drive or operate machinery. Always consult with a knowledgeable doctor before self-medicating. It's important to follow your doctors instructions on how to use CBG and the dosage plan. CBG is not a cure or prevention for various conditions. This is still very much an experimental substance and research into CBG therapy is just starting to gain momentum. More studies are needed to determine the benefits and work out the ideal CBG dosages that are both safe and effective for each condition.
