Beyond the Brain thrives best under a good light source. We recommend the standard 400-600W HPS/m2. This strain has the potential to deliver an amazing yield and requires the appropriate space to spread out. In hydroponics you can expect the biggest crops you have ever seen. It’s worthwhile to save one of these special females as a mother plant!

For indoor soil cultivation you basically only need to provide quality horticultural soil and the correct container size. Beyond the Brain will almost grow by herself and is a low-maintenance strain. If you extend the vegetative time beyond 4 weeks then provide a mild feeding to top up nutrients in the soil in case you are not replanting soon. Experienced growers who are familiar with their soil brand and organic/mineral fertiliser will know what to do. If you are uncertain, simply "go with the flow" and repot your plants into fresh soil once they get root bound.

In the greenhouse Beyond the Brain can be planted in an SOG (sea of green) style if required. Outdoor this strain is a good choice for warm temperate, Mediterranean, and subtropical regions. Mold resistance is high.

Germinating Seeds

Our organic cannabis seeds are fresh, ripened to perfection and handcrafted. Each batch is pre-tested for 100% germination. They can be easily germinated in seedling soil. In Europe the Compo Sana seedling mix is an excellent choice. In North America some popular brands are Burpee Seed Starting Mix, Promix Organic Pro Seed Starting Mix and Fox Farm Light Warrior Seed Starter.

Please don't make it difficult for the seed embryo to pop out of its shell and invest in quality soil if you are growing organically. Some of the major problems we've seen in cannabis cultivation are peat pellets or jiffy tabs because the acidic pH can inhibit germination. Coco coir bricks and other "homemade bricks" can also cause low germination rates. 

Soaking the seeds and other pre-germination methods are not recommended. We accept no responsibility for results if customers insist on germinating in paper tissues or soak their seeds in water.

WARNING: Do NOT lower the pH of your water with acids like "pH-Down" products containing nitrogen or phosphoric acid. These acids are so strong they corrode metals! Using pH-Down products on a regular basis can be fatal when growing in soil and KILL your seedlings. We use cheap vinegar since 35 years to lower pH, its non-toxic and completely harmless for plants.
