This is a rare Central American landrace offered by Ace Seeds and a great opportunity for discerning Sativa connoisseurs and breeders. Since this strain is made available as regular seeds it's an opportunity for preserving the genetics or creating your own hybrids.

Honduras grows like the long flowering Sativas found in the valleys of Colombia and has a very high yield. But its aroma profile and effect is more similar to old school Mexican strains. Like most equatorial Sativas you can expect a high calyx-leaf ratio, vigorous and branchy plants that withstand humidity, heat, and pests. 

Honduras requires a lot of patience to grow. Indoor you should use 400-600W HPS and provide space since this is a branchy tall plant. Switch her into flowering after 15 days from seed, or starting from clones rooted for at least 7 days. The plants are very vigorous due to their landrace genetics. Ace Seeds suggests a 11/13 light cycle for flowering to trigger bud development, avoid reflowerings, and excessive stretching. This strain repsonds well to SOG, SCROG and super-cropping. Outdoor cultivation works best in tropical climates, warm coastal regions, Mediterranean climate, and up to 43ºN. Heat and mold resistance is high as are the yields.

The THC levels range between moderate to high. Nevertheless, this is not so noticeable in the effect because Honduras has a very energizing, social high that is perfect for creativity, recreational time, spending time in nature, and staying up to party. Despite the mid-range potency she tends towards the nervous energy familiar in African strains. If you are prone to anxiety, racy heart, etc. this may not be a suitable strain to sample.
