Description
This famous Mandala strain is a reliable and powerful cross that will delight your connoisseur heart. Satori is an exceptionally easy to grow sativa. She has shown impressive hardiness against spider mites and other pests, and she has a good measure of mold resistance. Her slim appearance makes it possible to plant in narrow rows, or in SOG, to maximize her typical record yields even more. The firm side shoots provide highest quality cuttings. As with all our sativa's she is heat resistant - an added bonus for small indoor environments and hot summer grows. The mainly sweet fruity-spicy aroma is a real treat for the senses.
Satori grows a long head bud with chunky flowers and does not require much feeding on soil; you can almost do without feeding provided you use quality soil and sufficient pot size (approx. 2 gallon pots for adult plants under 250-600W lamps). Keep EC levels low in hydroponics for best results. All Mandala strains are extremely efficient in nutrient uptake due to their hybrid vigor and require only low EC levels/feeding to develop huge leaf, stem and bud structure. Satori is a high yielding, powerful plant with an exceptional sativa high. The heavy buds are easy to manicure, and from the resinous bud leaves you can produce finest grade hash, comparable in quality to the famous Nepalese 'temple balls'.
Germinating Seeds
Our organic cannabis seeds are fresh, ripened to perfection and handcrafted. Each batch is pre-tested for 100% germination. They can be easily germinated in seedling soil. In Europe the Compo Sana seedling mix is an excellent choice. In North America some popular brands are Burpee Seed Starting Mix, Promix Organic Pro Seed Starting Mix and Fox Farm Light Warrior Seed Starter.
Please don't make it difficult for the seed embryo to pop out of its shell and invest in quality soil if you are growing organically. Some of the major problems we've seen in cannabis cultivation are peat pellets or jiffy tabs because the acidic pH can inhibit germination. Coco coir bricks and other homemade "bricks" can also cause low germination rates.
Soaking the seeds and other pre-germination methods are not recommended. We accept no responsibility for results if customers insist on germinating in paper tissues or soak their seeds in water.
WARNING: Do NOT lower the pH of your water with acids like "pH-Down" products containing nitrogen or phosphoric acid. This can be fatal when growing in soil and KILL your seedlings. We use cheap vinegar since 35 years to lower pH, its non-toxic and completely harmless for plants. The correct water pH for soil cultivation is 6.2-6.5. Please consult our Water & pH Guide for more info.

Satori was one of my favorite grows of all time. From two seeds I got two phenotypes which both were exceptional in every respect. Amazingly both were female in spite of being non-feminized seeds. One plant was taller with a slightly less skunky smell, but I could barely discern a difference in the effects upon vaporizing. They both handled extreme heat, needed very little fertilizing, had no disease or pests, came in well before danger of first frost, and overall were among the 2 the most satisfying harvests I've had since medical legalization in 2016. Even constricted to large pots, the larger plant weighed in at 481g after dry. Perfect balance of sativa head high with just enough indica for back pain relief. Highly recommended for medical and recreational growers alike.
I am 69 and have smoked since 18, in all those years Satori has been my favorite.
Easy to grow, great buds without using any fertilizer or chemicals, I like all natural. I used this for over ten years without getting burned out or building up a resistance. This is an honest 2 toke weed.
I grow it a few years and always have complete satisfaction. Even in a really poor light I have decent harvest not to speak about smoking experience. Highest recomendations! Mandala seeds, thank you for what your doing!
Satori is quite a short sativa with a solid yield and a special aroma that is difficult to define. Some sativa phenos smell of oranges, candy, hash and spices. Other sativa phenos are melon, menthol and grapefruit. A purple hued pheno has a nice berry perfume, with touches of pine, honey and incense. The most indica looking are more bitter, musky, herbal, with metallic and garlic aromas.
Satori smoke is clear, analytical, engaging and playful with spontaneous insights of comical or clever ideas. Compared to Beyond the Brain, Satori is slightly less clear, meditative, comfortable and warm, but much more creative. Satori is not a typical hybrid, its effect is unique.
Been growing Satori for about 8 years. Had some amazing keepers during that time. Have also lost and refound those keepers a few times. Absolutely delighted to be able to buy direct. Super fresh seeds that all popped. Generous counts and freebies. Couldn't be happier.
