Description

Ultra Early Love F7 (UEL F7) by Bunkerlinge is a Sativa-dominant outdoor strain with roots in the legendary Santa Marta Colombian Gold genetics. Originally developed by Canadian breeder Reeferman (Charles Scott), this exceptional line combines the distinctive character of Colombian Sativas with the early flowering and climate resilience needed for successful cultivation in northern climates.

The genetics originate from Reeferman's Love Potion #1, a cross of the G13 Indica clone and Santa Marta Colombian Gold, subsequently backcrossed to the Colombian parent. Ultra Early Love emerged through the selection of the earliest-flowering, most light-sensitive phenotypes. The Santa Marta heritage is particularly valuable, preserving a connection to one of Colombia's most celebrated traditional Sativa lines.

After becoming difficult to obtain in Europe, the genetics were preserved by Belgian breeder Arnold Vliet beginning in 2016, with continued selection and preservation by community breeders. Through seven generations of selection, UEL F7 has been refined for early maturity, mold resistance, and reliable performance in cooler northern outdoor climates. It also offers valuable breeding potential for growers looking to introduce Colombian Sativa genetics into early-finishing outdoor crosses.

UEL F7 is strictly an outdoor strain, developed for cultivation under natural daylight rather than artificial indoor lighting. Plants show vigorous growth, strong adaptability, and usually reach 2 meters and potentially 3–4 meters (10–13 feet) under favorable conditions. Its early flowering and good mold resistance make it a good choice for locations with short summers and unpredictable autumn weather.

In Central Europe, plants typically begin flowering by mid-August at the latest, with harvests from late September to early October. This allows growers in northern latitudes to enjoy Colombian-derived Sativa genetics without the extended flowering season normally required for tropical varieties.

The aroma is fresh and expressive, with citrus and grapefruit dominating. The terpene profile reflects the Colombian Sativa heritage and gives UEL F7 a unique bouquet among early-finishing outdoor varieties.

Important cultivation advice: UEL F7 should be germinated under natural daylight, preferably from early May onward. Seeds can be sown directly outdoors, started in a small greenhouse, or on a windowsill receiving natural light. Avoid indoor propagation under artificial 18–20 hour light cycles. Transferring plants from prolonged artificial lighting to shorter outdoor daylight can trigger premature flowering, severely restricting growth and yield. This pronounced photoperiod sensitivity is a defining characteristic of UEL F7 and should not be confused with autoflowering genetics.
