Description
To celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2025, Ace Seeds is making this authentic Indica strain available to all growers, with a focus on those who appreciate landrace genetics. This particular strain originates from Kashmir and has not been hybridized, ensuring its purity and unique qualities. Genetics that are available for the first time on the market!
From germination onwards, the seedlings display striking characteristics like large dark leaves that resemble "jurassic" Indica's. As they grow, they take on a stocky columnar shape with medium internodes (larger than most Indica's) and sturdy branches.
The Ace Seeds Kashmir strain was created with selective inbreeding that preserves the desired THC and CBD chemotypes while consistently producing higher levels of CBG.
Within this lineage, there are two main phenotypes as well as a few rarer variations. The first phenotype has massive dark leaves typical of hash plants along with deep purples, reds, and blacks on both the flowers and bud leaves that curl from the resin's weight. The second phenotype features green medium-sized leaves, the calyxes will still exhibit some interesting colors towards the end of the flowering period.
Kashmir regular seeds produces attractive, dense and resinous buds, with an above average calyx-leaf ratio for an Indica plant. As the plants near maturity, they often develop vivid shades of red, purple, and even black, which become more pronounced in cooler temperatures.
Kashmir, located at a high latitude of 30°N and surrounded by tall mountains, rivers, lakes, and stunning valleys, has shaped the genetics of both the wild Sativa and cultivated Indica plants in the region. Cannabis plants have adapted to the rugged terrain and cold temperatures, developing a swift maturation process and strong resistance to cold nights and rainy monsoon season. This makes Kashmiri Indica strains mold resistant and faster to harvest compared to Afghan landraces.
The unique conditions in Kashmir have also resulted in hashish with distinct qualities that are highly sought after by connoisseurs whenever it makes its way to the Western market.
When smoked, it offers a thick and satisfying hit with a lemony profile and hints of floral, earthy, minty, gas, hash, and some leather/organic smells. The taste and effects are comparable to top-quality traditional Kush strains.
