Description

Hangkrarok Giant Regular represents ancient and highly valued genetics of the Hangkrarok landrace, carefully grown and preserved by a collective of Thai master growers. These seeds carry the true heritage of Northeast Thailand and express the raw potential of traditional Thai Sativa when cultivated in their natural element.
Hangkrarok Giant typically grows into a lanky equatorial Sativa that reaches 5+ meters (16.5 feet). It performs well in most environments but truly excels outdoors in warm and tropical climates, where it shows impressive resistance to heat, heavy rains, mold, and wind.
Given ample space, nutrients, and time, they live up to their name, developing into towering giants. This cultivar prefers minimal interference. Handling, training, or excessive manipulation can stress the plants and limit their potential. Flowering is very slow, but the result is a truly impressive plant with an exceptionally high THC output for a traditional landrace.
The terpene profile of limonene and myrcene is smooth and inviting, combining notes of ripe mango and citrus with subtle layers of liquorice. Balanced and pleasant, the aroma reflects the classic character of original Thai genetics.
The effects are distinctly energetic and uplifting, embodying what traditional Thai landraces are renowned for. Clear, stimulating, and long-lasting, Hangkrarok Giant delivers a quintessential Sativa experience rooted in authentic heritage.
About Prempavee
Prempavee is a mother and organic farmer from Isaan in northeastern Thailand. Her farm sits at the center of a region that, during the 1960s and 1970s, was once the largest source of what became known as Thai Stick. Contrary to common belief, Thai Stick is not a cannabis strain, but a traditional method of bundling cannabis flowers around thin sticks to make them easier to transport and conceal.
While Thai Sticks themselves have largely disappeared with the advent of modern preservation techniques, the original landrace genetics used to produce them remain alive. These varieties are carefully maintained by Prempavee and more than 2,000 other local farmers. The most widely cultivated landrace in the region is Hang Krarok (aka Hang Kra Rog), meaning “Squirrel Tail,” followed by Hang Suea (“Tiger Tail”), Foitong (“Golden String”), Black Mango, and others.
Prempavee belongs to long-standing farming collectives where entire villages have worked together to safeguard these genetics for generations. Their seeds come from open-pollinated fields, resulting in rich genetic diversity and a wide range of traits. Historically, these Thai landraces were prized by renowned breeders for enhancing terpene profiles, potency, and yields. Today, as legalization in Thailand has introduced many foreign varieties, these traditional Thai Sativa's are becoming increasingly scarce, making their preservation more important than ever.
