These plants are resilient and can thrive in challenging conditions. Resistance against mites and powdery mildew is above average. While the plants typically have a consistent appearance, there may be some unique variations. During the flowering stage, about half will double in size while the other half may stretch up to four times their original height. This strain is well-suited for Scrog and other training methods that help manage its height. Due to the weight of its high-yielding buds, branch support is necessary.

Communion has a sweet, fruity, and camphor aroma with hints of candied grape wine and tropical pine-gas flavours. Its effects are long-lasting and fast-acting, producing a sensational euphoric head high accompanied by deep relaxation without causing drowsiness or lethargy.

The breeders recommend growing all Romulan feminized seeds in the vegetative state until they have reached sexual maturity (stigmas beginning to show) before flowering them. Stabilization through cloning is also recommended for those who prefer that route. This minimizes the (rare) risk of plants showing some male flowers due to a stress reaction from abrupt light changes.
