Maruf Kandahar '23 regular seeds is a first generation 100% Indica landrace collected directly on location. The 'selection #2' is from an impressive black leaf Indica that grows with a thick central stem and average branching.

Kandahar Province is situated in southern Afghanistan and shares a border with Pakistan. Haji Agha Khan, is the owner of marijuana farm in this region, where ILE sourced the seeds. Since 15 years he carefully selects certain plants that produce the best quality hashish. The cannabis plants grow at an altitude of 1000-1200 meters at 32°N in sandy clay soil. One standout specimen was the Kandahar Selection #2, which along with other exceptional plants catalogued during this project, showcases completely black leaves and flowers. This phenotype also boasts a high calyx-leaf ratio and produces large yields of resin-coated buds that are resilient to harsh climates and frost.

The vigorous plants have mainly columnar growth of medium size with foliage that looks almost black. Maruf Kandahar '23 #2 is especially recommended for outdoor growing in hot and dry climates due to its excellent adaptability to heat and drought in its place of origin. It easily tolerates low temperatures as well and strong temperature variations throughout its development.

This pure Afghan can easily be grown indoors too where it tends to finish within 65+ days. Moderate nutrients are recommended for the whole cycle, slightly higher in NPK in the first 2/3 of the flowering period.

The balanced high has an uplifting effect before settling into a relaxed state of well-being. Great potential for medical uses such as relieving stress, anxiety, aches and pains, muscle spasms, insomnia.

Germination info: ILE seeds must be planted directly in soil. A heating mat is beneficial during cooler months. The average germination time is 5-12 days. Do NOT throw away your soil if the seedlings don't appear after a few days!
ILE will not accept any reclamation regarding germination issues if a customer does not follow this germination method.
