Description

Tirah Maidan Hash Plant comes from the Tirah Valley region. The original seeds were gathered on-site in Tirah Maidan by a Pakistani strain hunter known as Tokecity, who later shared them with the Khalifa Genetics team. This edition of regular seeds is a reproduction that enhances certain characteristics while maintaining the landrace’s broad genetic base.

The Tirah Valley is located in a secluded mountainous area of Pakistan’s Khyber District, near the Afghan border. The region is deeply rooted in traditional cannabis cultivation and artisanal dry-sift hashish production.

Cannabis has been grown in the Tirah Valley for hundreds of years. Pashtun tribes, particularly the Afridi, are believed to have introduced the plant to the area roughly six centuries ago. Since then, farmers have consistently selected plants for high resin output, establishing Tirah as one of Pakistan’s key historic hash-producing regions.

Tirah hashish is especially well known for its rich, greasy, and adhesive resin. Typically made as garda, or dry-sift hash, it is derived from large, resin-heavy flowers and is prized for its intense, deeply physical effects.

Situated at elevations exceeding 2,000 meters, the Tirah Valley lies in a genetic transition zone where cannabis populations begin to show exceptional variation. As a result, the Tirah Maidan landrace exhibits remarkable genetic diversity.

Plant structure differs significantly across phenotypes. Approximately 30% of the population grows taller with slimmer leaflets, reflecting a more untamed highland form. The remaining plants tend to be shorter, denser, and more Indica-like. Regardless of structure, all expressions are notable for their oversized calyxes, plentiful bracts, and heavy trichome production. Many plants also develop striking natural colour tones.

These characteristics make the Tirah Maidan landrace particularly appealing to phenotype hunters and breeders searching for unusual and authentic genetics.

Tirah Maidan plants are robust, adaptable, and simple to cultivate. They require minimal feeding and thrive in harsh conditions, a result of centuries of rain-fed mountain farming traditions.

Growth patterns range from compact and bushy to tall and narrow-leafed. The plants favour light to moderate nutrient levels, and their genetic diversity contributes to strong vitality and resilient growth across most individuals.

Tirah Maidan produces a profoundly relaxing, physically weighty experience, often leading to pronounced couch-lock. Even so, while the body feels heavily sedated, the mind typically stays sharp and clear. This balance between physical intensity and mental clarity is characteristic of traditional hash-producing cultivars.

Its fragrance is distinctly old-world and instantly recognizable, featuring hashish tones, subtle tea and coffee notes and nutty, musky, earthy, and spicy nuances.

Because of its power and depth, this cultivar’s effects may feel intense or overpowering to those not accustomed to the full strength of authentic landrace genetics. Highly recommended for medical users.
