Description
Pure Durban landrace collection is native to South Africa from the “Valley of One Thousand Hills”, which takes its name from the highlands around the Umgeni River. This landrace grows on small hills. The lush vegetation is protected from drought by the humid haze from nearby waterfalls.
Anesia Seeds has feminized this pure Sativa and retained the original and best characteristics. Because of her relatively short flowering period and hardiness she is also suitable for northern regions with short summers. The Durban Poison strains have been popular in northern Europe and very rainy places, like the Netherlands, since many decades due to their mold and cold resistance.
Pure Durban feminized can also be cultivated indoors and is not fussy. The plant grows to a height of approx. 1.2-1.8 meters. Because of her tremendous growth it's a good idea to use SCROG or prune the plants. Although stretchy, she does not expand much to the sides and can be grown in a sea of green style (i.e. close planting). The buds are quite dense and covered in trichomes. The Durban landrace typically has attractive lime green buds that contrast with the slightly orange pistils and purplish touch to the calyxes.
Pure Durban feminized develops a very fruity taste and smell, which increases significantly during curing. This subtropical Sativa has an energetic and euphoric effect, which supports concentration and focus. Unlike other African marijuana, its less likely to provoke anxiety or racy heart and is considered more gentle.
