Description
Acapulco Gold feminized from Barney's Farm is an old school hybrid combining Mexican and Central American genetics.
Acapulco Gold can be grown indoor although this is predominantly an outdoor strain. There are basically two phenotypes: one with more indica-leaning growth pattern and shorter finishing time, the other taller and more typical Sativa. Outdoor plants grow up to 2 meters with chunky colas and golden brown pistils (hence the name). Harvest time is usually middle to end of October and yield is above average.
When smoking or vaping the fruity Acapulco Gold, users experience both a body and head high. Its a sativa-dominant strain, so the cerebral effects are more evident. People find themselves feeling uplifted, energized, and invigorated. It is reported to have aphrodisiac qualities as well. The buzz is ideal for daytime use and feeling motivated. A pleasant body high that is calming and relaxing balances out the stimulating effects. The strain offers benefits for medical purposes such as relieving stress, curbing pain, increasing appetite, and reducing fatigue.
