Athena regular seeds is an exquisite Sativa hybrid of Colombian Gold 1972 from the renowned Underground Seeds Collective and Oldtimer's Haze, a treasured strain passed down by the late UK breeder and collector Oldtimer1.

Pandora Seeds meticulously selected the best female specimen of Colombian Gold 1972, analyzing traits such as vigor, resin production, aroma, and effect before discarding any plants that appeared to be shorter flowering hybrids.

Despite searching extensively, no viable Colombian Gold 1972 males were found, leading to the decision to incorporate Oldtimer's Haze males into the breeding process. This old school variety, obtained by Oldtimer1 from travelers along the hippie trail in the 70s, bears genetic resemblance to Colombian strains like Colombian Gold and Punto Rojo. However, Oldtimer's Haze possesses a wildness and intensity that sets it apart. The addition of Oldtimer's Haze males brings a fresh infusion of terpenes and heightened vigor to this rare Colombian cultivar.
