With this version of Oldtimer's Haze, Ace Seeds offers you a selection of Green Haze phenotypes. Their roots come mainly from green Colombians within the original genotype of Haze population.
Green Haze differs from Purple Haze by staying completely green when it ripens (even at low temperatures), for its aromas of ripe tropical fruits, and for having a more energetic, euphoric, open and sociable effect than the purple phenotypes. The high has no ceiling due to the lack of CBD.
Due to its extreme tropical sativa genotype, this is an indoor strain for experienced sativa growers or breeders. Ace Seeds recommends a 11-13 light cycle to boost flowering, and avoid reflowerings or excessive stretching. You can also reduce the light cycle to 10-14 from the second half of flowering. Highly recommended for SCROG, horizontal or network growing.
For outdoor, it requires a tropical/subtropical climate in order to reach its full potential. However, it can easily be grown at 20º-37ºN, and warm coastal climates. The use of a greenhouse is very helpful for its correct ripening in non-tropical latitudes. Green Haze has very flexible, willowy stems that withstand heavy downpours and wind. A bonus for areas with monsoon and tropical storms.
Green Haze requires low levels of nutrients, especially of nitrogen. For outdoor growing, it’s best to mix a good base of organic soil, rich in guano and worm casting, and then place the plants in a sunny place and leave them to grow at their own rhythm, almost without using fertilizers or stimulators.
Genetic analyses show that Green Haze has a very rare genotype, of extremely low genetic variability, showing direct kinship mainly with old Colombian and Panama Sativas. Due to its stability, it is a very dominant plant in breeding projects, producing extraordinary hybrids with the mythical taste and effect that have made this Sativa world famous.
