We absolutely love mango and have fond memories of the lush mango groves near our home in South India in the early 90s.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen Mango Cake came into our hands, the intense fruity character immediately caught our attention and we knew this was a must-have strain. We selected from these genetics to create our own feminized Mandala edition, adding some of today’s most sought-after tropical and dessert flavours to our collection.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe parent genetics combine Mango Taffie with Wedding Cake, pairing tropical fruit with the sweet, creamy character that has made dessert strains so popular. Mango Taffie descends from LA Affie and a Hawaiian heirloom strain, while Wedding Cake brings together Triangle Kush and Animal Mints. The result is a Sativa-dominant hybrid with an impressive family tree and a personality of its own.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe plants are vigorous and uncomplicated to grow, with good pest resistance and no tendency to be fussy. Thick, dark green leaves dominate the foliage, often contrasted by reddish stems. Resin production gets an early start in flowering and doesn't stop at the buds. As the plants mature, magenta and purple shades can deepen toward red, with orange pistils decorating the frosty flowers. By harvest, the buds can look almost sugar-coated.
