Punto Rojo comes from a classic line of high reputation and history, which has been obtained across different phenotypes of this native variety, selected in the north and central area of the country. This process has achieved a final genetic blending the best properties of the various expressions of this variety: fast growing and vigorous, and a flowering stage which stretches between 16-22 weeks. Its development will be wild, lean, and typical of a sativa, with long internodes, flexible branches and leaves with thin leaflets in shades of green and purple. It must be said that part of the breeding effort has focused on getting a stable female-male ratio, trying to control the unruly impulses of this landrace genetics. But by their nature, this first version may show some intersex individuals. Punto Rojo is aromatically complex with many nuances (lime, spices, incensed wood), very tasty and full. Its effect is exhilarating, psychedelic, very special and characteristic of Colombian landraces. Typical is also the development red pistils at the end of ripening, which combined with its bright trichomes gives it a stunning appearance. This is a landrace strain for breeders and ambitious connoisseurs.
This classic line from Colombia has a grand reputation for its flavoursome aromas and great potency, being very long lasting. Although the origin is uncertain, its one of the few classic landraces which is still known for its great quality. It has a branching structure, with large colas of flowers which all help towards elevating its final yield. It has fruity, mango like flavours and aromas, with hints of spicyness. It has a psychoactive high/effect, which can be overwhelming, which is also cerebral and trippy at the same time, with a touch of a mellow stone, making it a nice high overall. This is a classic in between the best of the best Colombian originals.
A classic sativa-indica hybrid that joins two lines with copious resin production and personality for themselves such as Deep Chunk from Tom Hill and Panama "pink hair" from our breeder. It flowers in a little over 8 weeks and has a mostly indica effect. There is a strong Afghan influence, the plants produce hard and resinous terminal buds with earthy and lemony flavours. Occasionally the flowering pistils turn pink. Panama DC has a potent long-term effect. This is a tasty, strong and vigorous hybrid.
