Nebula CBD *new*

  • Description
  • Specifications

When we were researching the development of medical quality cannabis we came to Nebula, one of our award winning varieties  We have always said that the original beats with a Mediterranean heart; strong and healthy but mellow. For this reason the strain was already a popular choice with medical users. In collaboration with the CBD crew, we have enhanced its natural personality and altered the cannabinoid profile to create Nebula ll CBD. For many medical users who are looking to grow their own herb for self treatment, the THC ‘high’ valued by recreational users is often a side effect they do not want. Cannabidiol (known simply as CBD) is the non psychoactive ingredient of cannabis which promotes relaxation of the body. By using THC in combination with CBD psychoactive effects are suppressed while health benefits are kept. The CBD content in the Nebula ll CBD strain is 7% compared to 7% THC, a 1:1 ratio that ensures the user will get all the healing power and the subtlest of head buzzes. With sativa genetics in its make up this plant naturally grows dynamically, producing a thick main stem cola and side branches which hang heavy with large and fragrant buds. The resin output is high too, unaffected by the higher CBD share, with even the youngest buds showing an oily coating. Nebula ll CBD is a good allrounder for growers. It will do well in indoor operations although it has a tendency to shoot for the light and therefore needs some management. However, it responds well to training and is especially effective in a set up such as Sea Of Green (SOG). For the grower who likes to take it outside, this clone has versatility in its genes. It will obviously perform very well in southern regions of the world, but will also delight gardeners further north (as far as the UK, parts of Canada and Germany) who will benefit from its relatively short harvest time (60-65 days) and interstellar harvest potential. The final product comes with a fruity flavor. As for the effect, when vaped, smoked or consumed in an edible form, Nebula ll CBD will provide a welcome relief from many symptoms and ailments that afflict medical cannabis users.

Opium

  • Description
  • Specifications

We call her Opium. Yes, the Queen of Paradise plants is a bold claim but one we are confident to make. This sativa/indica mix combines a majestic grow with a deliciously regal smoke. As you would expect with our Queen, we invested much time and energy into her preparation. By the time she stepped into the limelight she had been bred over several generations, using the genetics of original classic lines; and she didn’t disappoint when she arrived. A High Times Cannabis Cup prize winner, Opium was an instant hit with the growing community. The characteristics we channelled into Opium have created a strain with stand out qualities. The plant grows strong, with a thick stem and bushy side branches. This gives it the tools to produce BIG and heavy buds that are trichome rich. A pleasure to work with for the indoor gardener (60 days flower time), This sturdy plant is versatile. It can be grown as a multi branch, stand alone, or in a set up that employs a Sea Of Green as it responds very well to training. Particularly impressive
results have been achieved by those who use hydroponic systems, and hydro growers are big fans of its easy management too. Outside, the Opium is a different story. In a warm and sunny climate it will grow more tree than bush, which makes it particularly effective for growers in southern regions of France, Spain and California. Although this is a sturdy plant, the big buds may not make it so reliable for garden and guerrilla plots in northern areas, particularly if autumn is wet in your region. Apart from the regal qualities she displays while growing, Opium carries her majesty through to the finished product. The smoke, fuelled by the plant’s sativa heritage, delivers a swift takeoff while the indica factor ensures that the intensity of the experience carries right through to landing. The dominant fragrance is fruit, and the taste is creamy. A little like your favorite cocktail, you will be coming back for more.

Original Cheese (IBL)

  • Description
  • Specifications

The Original Cheese needs no introduction. It is a classic variety, a homegrown English strain that has brought a new meaning to the word pungent. Originally developed in the UK in the 1980s, Cheese had a brief ride around the Amsterdam coffeeshop scene before the Super Skunk invasion. It went away but returned in the 1990s, widely believed to have been developed by Exodus a legendary UK collective famed for their underground parties. You’ll notice that we name ours, Original Cheese (IBL), because that’s what it is. In 2003, through good fortune and the generosity of a red eyed acquaintance in London, we negotiated ourselves an original female Cheese clone. We intended to cross it with other varieties, but at the end of the day this is one classic that deserves to be preserved in its purest form. The line is strong with this one. From the original clone we have bred a plant that retained all its best qualities, with the added benefits of boosted stability, more potency and yield potential. As the grower would expect, this is a plant that consistently performs delivering a product that is unmistakable in smell and taste. Part of the popularity of the cheese strain is its adaptability, providing consistency when growing indoor or outdoor. Expect this plant to yield big, with chunky buds that reach parts other skunks can’t. As for the effect, once you have learnt to love that pungent aroma, you will be back for more. The Original Cheese is full power. It will reach out and grab you, ready or not, so make sure your tasks are done, that phone call to grandma has been dealt with and the cat has been fed.

Original White Widow (IBL)

  • Description
  • Specifications

Original White Widow (IBL) is pure old school all the way. An explosive combination of sativa and hybrid genetics from Brazil and India that yields big and hits hard. This is classic bud, 50/50 sativa/indica, with a popularity that has endured over the years. As the story goes, this plant harnessed the power of a super sativa Brazilian land race together with a resinous indica from the mountainsides of Kerala in southern India. We were given a female clone way back in 1996 and have been breeding it with a carefully selected White Widow male plant since then. A consistent component in some of our cross breed plants, bringing quality enhancement, in 2012 we decided it was time to share the original strain in its purest form. Our In Bred Line is strong, a lineage that comes all the way from the original champion strain, developed by our old friend Ingemar, known by many as ’The Father of the White Widow’. This powerful plant takes its name from the Black Widow spider, dangerously potent, in combination with the thick coating of white crystals that cover its resinous buds. Expect the characteristics that have earned this plant such a solid reputation for its commercial capabilities. A sturdy plant, growth patterns are uniform, becoming bushy early on before stretching when in flower. This variety is a great fit for SOG, SCROG, LST and other forms of plant training, making it ideal for cultivators working with limited space. The many side branches produce fat tops, exploding with trichomes, which emanate its floral odour.

Sensi Star

  • Description
  • Specifications

The strongest indica you will ever encounter, Sensi Star does not lie! This strain takes pride of place in our collection and is the seed that put Paradise Seeds on the map when it completed an epic champions league double taking the High Life and High Times Cups in the same year. Since then this strain has continued to win awards around the world, in both bio and hydro categories. Improved in 1997 it is named ‘one of the worlds finest cannabis strains by cannabiscupwinners.com. Sensi Star has achieved over 15 cups in major competitions and is as popular now as it was in 1995 when we first released it. Just what are the prize winning attributes of this old school classic strain? It is smaller than many varieties, fat and stout with bushy branches that carry dense indica buds. It’s a great plant, producing powerful and very compact buds, crowned with legendary amounts of resin. The smaller size means this plant is good for all grow rooms, allowing the gardener to maximize use of space, performing just as well in soil or hydro (8-9 weeks flower time). The variety is bred to work well as a multi branch and is an exceptional performer in Sea Of Green and Screen Of Green (SOG and SCROG) set ups, where the side branches of these short and thick plants contribute to excellent harvest yields.

Outside too, the Sensi Star proves its outstanding heritage with a tendency to grow fat and beautiful bushes that sprout from the ground like new stars exploding in some distant galaxy. With a lot of sun, this plant will produce many, many buds, and is a big favorite down south, in regions of France and Spain. It also has fans in southern regions of the USA. Expect colas that are rock hard and coated with so much resin they literally glow in the dark with crystals (which explains its ‘White Strain’ nickname). The taste is part metal, part mint and all sweetness. However, it is the effect that has put Sensi Star in the history books as one of the most potent strains available in the world. This variety is and almost pure long lasting indica, with THC levels recorded at over 20% in many cases. Although mostly indica, she retains a complex high that warps both body and soul. Sensi Star packs a champion’s heavyweight punch, hitting the body hard and sending you sprawling on the couch. A sativa kick brings some vigor to the stone, providing an energetic heady edge that is uplifting in nature. This strain appeals to old school and new schoolers alike and has become well known among medical users in recent years too for its super relaxation powers.

Super versatile, super resistant. That’s what makes Spoetnik #1 from Paradise Seeds such a winner. Once this plant takes off it will continue to soar, leaving a stardust trail that blazes through the night. The heritage of this plant is Afghani, crossed with Dutch genes giving it base characteristics that reflect its reputation as a hash giving plant. Back in the day Spoetnik hash was a top choice amongst Amsterdam coffee shop connoisseurs. Our version, Spoetnik #1 is a Paradise twist on an original classic, the quality bred through to produce a galaxy of riches. The buds of the Spoetnik are meteor chunky, with trichomes that light up the colas like the Milky Way. This plant is a dream for the farmer wanting to take home some hash. A popular plant with growers indoors and outdoors, because of its durability, able to thrive in regions and environments where pests and mold would pose a problem. Grown inside it is obedient to training for whatever grow project you have in mind Spoetnik is always ready for a mission. Outside, it will shoot for the open sky seeking out those sunbeams. However, its good all round resistance makes it well suited to outdoor gardens in northern countries, such as Canada, Germany, the UK and Czech Republic. A slow starter to begin with, this plant compensates with a late burst, filling out branches and gaining weight as it reaches maturity. This plant delivers a light show to inspire when it flowers, the buds hardening and becoming compact. Sweet Purple

  • Description
  • Specifications

A hardy beast, Sweet Purple is an indica variety has been bred to prowl the northern hemisphere, thriving in gardens where the climate and temperature are unpredictable. We developed the strain as the solution to many of the problems that plague outdoor growers in latitudes above 50º where mold can be a particular problem towards harvest time. The Sweet Purple is the solution, surviving and thriving in a habitat where many plants struggle. This is an old school plant, both in looks and product. The heritage is Thai, a nod to the sought after strains that sent ‘Hippy Trail’ travellers deep into Thailand’s forests and mountains in search of the ultimate weed back in the 1970s. We crossed this Thai line with hardy Dutch genetics to produce a plant that is self sufficient, from the forests of Slovenia to gardens from Canada and England to Scandinavia. Of course it will grow in southern regions providing a decent harvest, but this plant is really a Paradise Seeds gift to those who must endure farming their weather besieged gardens north of 50º n.L. In terms of yield, it may not be the biggest but there won’t be much wastage. This is as safe a bet as you can get in moderate countries. A modern miracle for colder climate growers, Sweet Purple will take the cold and the wet in its stride and still grow above 2 meters if you let it. The stems grow thick and the leaves bushy. The relatively short flowering means you will be enjoying a smoke around harvest time. The effects of the Sweet Purple mirror its predator status. It blends into its environment, a pleasant high that seeps through the body, bringing a sense of controlled calm to its every movement, yet it also has a lucid side, focusing the mind for concentration. Sweet and minty, the herbal bouquet that gave this variety its name is a favourite with artists and writers seeking contemplative meditation.

Wappa

  • Description
  • Specifications

Welcome to Wappa, an award winner and one of our most popular strains thanks to ease of growth and chunky harvests. The heritage of this plant is a sweet skunk and we bred this line, selecting the biggest and the juiciest plants of each generation to build the Wappa profile. What makes this plant such great value for money is its special power to thrive and keep on producing. A perfect plant for the beginner and also popular with pros who are looking for big yields and a dependable product. The plant itself is stout and sturdy, an indica strain that is renowned for its stability. The high calyx to leaf ratio will make the fussiest manicurist a happy person and it is pleasing to the eye too. This one is popular with those who have indoor grow rooms, and especially those gardeners that have limited space to work with. Wappa is a medium sized plant that packs a very big punch, evident in the thick cola and the proliferation of buds that surge from the side branches. As an outdoor plant, Wappa proves its qualities equally. It will perform in a more moderate climate, and grows well in the UK, Holland, Austria and Poland and parts of Canada. This plant will deliver the northern cultivator enough nuggets to store way for the long winter months ahead. However, Southern region growers in Europe, the USA and the countries of South America will best benefit from Wappa’s outdoor performance. Give this plant sunshine and it will reward you with buds. The buzz is intense, but not overwhelming. It sinks into the body, providing an indica carpet to walk over but never dragging you down. In fact Wappa brings an upful sense of purpose to your day’s proceedings. It has great power, but a benign power that will push you towards the doors of perception with a gentle nudge rather than an elevator free fall. A good day smoke and one to keep the evening going too. Also popular with medical patients.

White Berry

  • Description
  • Specifications

In every fairy tale forest you will find a bush yielding forbidden fruits that combine beauty with mythological potency. White Berry is such a plant! A one hit wonder with a unique high that the experienced smoker will savor. This is one of our new generation strains and with White Berry we took our time. We took all the knowledge we had learned from the successes of our earlier strains and channelled it into this plant. The main ingredients came from the original lines of classic strains. The result is the closest we have come to creating the model cannabis plant. White Berry is a popular choice for indoor growing thanks to a very quick flowering time (7 weeks). Slender and medium sized plant with all the bud growth concentrated around her single cola. Indoor growers working in small spaces will appreciate the size and still benefit from a decent yield. With uniformity and obedience, White Berry is a firm favourite with gardeners cultivating in Sea Of Green (SOG) and Screen Of Green (SCROG) set ups. Of course a plant worthy of a fairy tale forest is going to thrive outdoors too. White Berry prefers sunnier conditions, so she can show off those trichomes in all their dusty glory, but she will also grow in more northern and moderate conditions, such as northern Europe and Canada. When flowering White Berry will soon sparkle with white crystals that glisten on her colorful buds like the first frost on the forbidden forest floor. Once cured, the smoker will appreciate the delicious berry flavor that inspired the name. A flavorful heavy hitter, this strain is a match for any strong indica fan craving power. However, the user will also notice something special about the high. We describe the White Berry high as ‘complex and versatile’ for good reason. The typical result is a crystalline Sativa head high. But when smoked in higher quantities, an Indica style body stone comes forward. As a daytime companion it will inspire creativity (it will also bring an interesting twist to your night out) and as a nighttime companion it will put you to sleep like a baby on a lullaby. This plant also has fans in the medical cannabis community, especially amongst those that like to have a bit of mental stimulation with their pain relief.
