Easy 2 Grow

California Dream starts flowering soon after 12/12 and continues progressively at a regular pace. The plants are very similar in appearance and height, which means you can rely on steady results when growing from seeds. Under a standard 3-4 week vegetative time in soil with 400-600W HPS/m2 they tend to stretch to approx. 1 meter (3.3 feet) with little variation. The attractive buds have a typical conical shape with towers of resiny calyxes. Some buds are denser than others but the differences are minimal. This strain may have good potential for SCROG. California Dream prefers to grow in a balanced soil mix without excessive nitrogen content, and hot organic mixes with bat guano, etc. should be avoided. In a sea of green set-up it may be best to prune the shoots at the bottom three internodes to strengthen the top branches.

Resin production is reliable among all plants and the buds are easy to trim after harvest. Mold resistance tends to be high. Outdoors, California Dream can be grown in temperate regions as long as the weather does not turn before the harvesting date, around the middle of September. The effects are quick-hitting, producing an all-round high that can be felt in both body and mind. The stone leaves a sense of well-being and reflects the balanced yet stimulating power of its parentage. It may inspire you to hang loose and take a mind vacation, or motivate you to have fun with friends. This is a promising strain to try out.

Far Out

Connoisseur Stashish

Far Out is a quality Columbian Haze-Blueberry hybrid that has all the classic trademarks of a refined sativa. We recommend this strain to sativa lovers with some cultivation experience. As a long flowering variety with a more delicate structure, it requires gardening know-how to avoid common mistakes that unnecessarily stress the plants. In particular, take care not to overwater or use oversized containers for soil. It is better to repot after the plants have rooted in smaller containers (such as 3-4L or 1 gallon) than to grow them out directly in a large pot. “Hot” soils should be avoided, especially nitrogen rich mixes and feeds. During flowering this variety produces elongated sativa-like buds and a minority can lean toward an extreme form with a rather fluffy appearance (foxtail colas). At maturity her branch tips swell with beautiful and aromatic resin-coated buds. Large gardens allow multi-branching, although staking may be necessary due to the willowy branches and weighty flowers. The height of mature plants grown in soil is pleasantly manageable with most plants averaging between 100-120 cm/3.3-3.9 feet and just the odd individual reaching up to 145 cm/4.75 feet (this is the extreme sativa type).

Far Out performs satisfactorily in all mediums, but hydro is recommended if yield is the main objective. There are highly resinous plants with impressive potential for yield, so it is wise to keep clones as backup if you are looking for a keeper. Mold resistance is high. Prospects for growing this strain outdoor in moderate or hot climates are very positive and under good conditions bumper yields can be expected. Due to the fantastic calyx-leaf ratio you can almost just cut and dry the ripe buds. The sparse bud leaves tend to be fully covered with trichomes which extend even to fan leaves. The smoke is aromatic like sweet thyme with a touch of fruit and the high is reflected in her name: Far Out!

Fruitylicious

The Dream Team: Hashberry & Blueberry

Fruitylicious has inherited the frosty tight buds and the succulent savour of berry from a specially selected mother called Very Berry Hashberry. The fruity aroma is complemented by a touch of hazelnut or soft pine during flowering. But when you open a bag or glass of cured buds, the aroma that flows out is like a tantalising fruit basket of berries. The slightest touch to the nugs fills the air with an intense fruitiness. A proper drying and curing process is recommend to preserve the flavour profile long-term (please also note that aroma is dependant on cultivation methods and external factors). The buzz is a smile-inducing euphoria that makes it great for socialising and recreational fun. This is a good daytime smoke, but you can also party with it throughout the night.

Fruitylicious performs well in soil with minimal feeding and is a robust strain among our current feminised line. That makes her a good choice for novice growers and if you expect that the plants have to brave periods of harsh weather outdoor. The thicker branches should withstand higher wind speeds or heavy rain and this can be lifesaving in a difficult outdoor season. This is a very fine strain for the connoisseur and commercial grower alike.

Type: 70% Indica
Indoor Flowering: 60-65 days

Hubble Bubble

Delicious Indica

Hubble Bubble is a very homogenous plant and perfect if you just want to grow from seeds. Her size remains short with little stretch which makes this an ideal strain for growing in small spaces, on a balcony, or for discreet outdoor plantations. Under HPS lamps with a standard 4 week vegetative time in soil she typically reaches between 80-90 cm, which is well under a meter (or 30-35"). The growth pattern tends towards a Christmas tree shape, so this could be a strain that can be easily trained if you prefer this method. Due to the short size it is not productive to prune the plants unless you offer enough light or grow time, or have a hydroponic set-up. Although branchy the plants don’t take up a lot of space and can be planted in a sea of green style. Buds are quite dense and have a complex bouquet of sweetness with an exotic hint of spice (like Christmas cookies), or a touch of rosemary that reminds one of herbal candy. The frosty nuggets are great for bong hits or vaporizers. Hubble Bubble’s homogenous growth, compact size and balanced stone make this a good staple strain for all kinds of growers.

Genetics: North India; Hindu Kush
Type: mainly Indica
Indoor Flowering: 62-65 days
Outdoor Harvest: September (south); mid October (north)

Purple Paro Valley

  • Description

  • Specifications

World Exclusive Genetics

Purple Paro Valley was developed from a landrace Sativa that originates from the Paro Valley in West Bhutan at an altitude of 2.500 meters. The feminised hybrid is only two generations removed from the wild habitat. In this region the landrace has adapted to the harsh Himalayan climate of extended dry spells, monsoon rain, and cold winters. Purple Paro Valley (PPV) is recommended for cultivation in northern climates up to 56°N, or where high humidity is a concern. With global warming making outdoor cultivation increasingly unpredictable this resilient landrace hybrid can meet the challenge.

Thanks to her extreme durability she can cope with low temperatures better than most modern cannabis strains. At first glance her flexible branches look somewhat fragile and willowy. But the local Paro landrace can withstand strong wind. For the most part, Purple Paro Valley has inherited this feature. Nevertheless, it is recommended to support the plants if a storm is expected and not to wait and see! The mold resistance of the pure landrace and PPV is exceptionally high. The plants are also quite nutrient-efficient. Hybridising the landrace was essential to improve yield. Growing a large multi-branch plant will enhance yield further.

During flowering most plants develop a delicious spicy and green lime aroma. The citrus/lime scent is typical of the Paro landrace. But there is one type of plant that stands out and we call her “candy girl”, because she smells just like sugary candy! When you crumble the dry buds they release a sweet, minty scent with a touch of hazelnut. The green phenotype tends towards lavender. The terpene linalool is responsible for the lavender scent and enhances the sedative, sleep enhancing effects, as well contributing to pain relief. Some of the purple plants can also smell like black tea, but the smoke still leaves a fresh, minty aftertaste on the exhale. PPV hash oil has the fresh, sweet, balsamic aroma of Himalayan cedar wood. The high is predominantly very relaxing or couch lock. It’s suitable for winding down, as a sleep aid, great to relieve hyperactivity and nervousness.

Although the mother genetics are homogenous it did not turn out this way with the current feminised strain. This doesn’t have to be an undesirable factor. Diversity is an evolutionary strategy in nature to ensure survival. For that purpose, the diversity in PPV can play an important role in securing your harvest. We differentiate mainly between the green and the purple phenotype. The purple phenotype accounts for approx. 75% of the population and is very attractive and fascinating to watch during flowering. However, what ratio you get between green/purple largely depends on the amount of plants you are growing. A small number will give you a more slanted result. The green pheno is shorter in height, finishes flowering earlier, and the buds are also more compact. The purple phenotype has long internodes, which has to be taken into account when growing in containers or a greenhouse. Late planting and pruning is recommended in both situations. In a Mediterranean or hot climate the plants grow between 1.50 (green pheno) to 2 meters in containers if they are planted in June (northern hemisphere) and left unpruned. If a moderate size is desired, we recommend timing the planting season to allow for just one month vegetative growth. During this vegetative period pruning the main growing tip once should be sufficient. Purple Paro Valley responds well to LST (low stress training). Trimming the bottom shoots further simplifies plant care and increases the strength of the upper branches.

Purple Paro Valley is especially suitable as a “back-up strain” in unfavourable climates. For example, a few PPV plants can be combined with a higher yielding strain for the north such as our Mandala #1. In very difficult locations, or in a season with exceptionally bad weather, Purple Paro Valley is perhaps the only reliable choice. Where other varieties have already failed before, there is still hope with this special strain! For guerrilla cultivation she is also an attractive choice because hardly any other strain requires such low maintenance.

Genetics: Paro Valley, Bhutan (hybridized)
Type: 75% sativa
Indoor Flowering: not suitable for indoor (seriously)!
Outdoor Harvest: mid-end of October
Height: 1,5-2 meters in containers outdoor; can grow taller in the ground
Yield:
Aroma: sweet-candy, lavender, hazelnut, himalayan black tea
High: relaxing, calming, couch lock stone, sedative and anti-anxiety

White Bhutanese

World Exclusive Genetics

For the first time Bhutanese landrace genetics from this mysterious and remote Himalayan country can be savoured and explored! White Bhutanese originates from mother plants cultivated from first-rate wild seed stock. The mother plants are completely authentic and unmodified since the time when these seeds were collected in the natural habitat. White Bhutanese is only one generation removed from its Himalayan source!

As harvest nears you can enjoy an exotic variety of scents. It can be a mixture of spice, lemon, fruit, mint, and nuts in various combinations. It took a while before we could figure out a suitable comparison for this complex aroma palette. The nearest was the typical Indian sweets or “mithai” made from cashews, pistachios, cardamom, etc. Once this tasty herb is dried and cured the aroma matures to a unique synthesis that reflects the environment the plants grew in, but the lemon and mint remains typical. The high has a smooth entry with an enduring effect. It’s a perfect balance between potency and everyday enjoyability. This herb is perfect for concentrating and creative projects, because it is not prone to interrupting your train of thoughts of triggering forgetfulness. The effects are mainly cerebral but also register in the body, with a physical laid-back state in the last quarter of the high which invites you to relax. However, this is a temporary phase and the buzz leaves behind a refreshed state of mental clarity. The relatively high CBG content enhances the medical applications of this strain such as for moderate pain relief, as a sleep aid, and treatment for glaucoma.

To facilitate outdoor cultivation and offer a feminized strain we hybridized the mother plants with a carefully selected pollen donor. The major characteristics of the Bhutanese landrace have been preserved, whilst improving and standardizing the overall quality of the flowering buds. This particular Sativa is from Wangdi Province in Central Bhutan. It grows in semi tropical climate with cool winters at an altitude of 1.300-2.000 meters. Our White Bhutanese is a very versatile strain with high mold resistance. She can be cultivated in tropical to warm temperate environments up to 43°N. The plants withstand heat and have been stress-tested up to 48°C/118°F in a greenhouse. Cultivators in regions with a constant photoperiod or high humidity should especially consider growing this strain.

White Bhutanese is a classical, tall Sativa with long internodes, which has to be taken into account when growing in containers or a greenhouse. Late planting and pruning is essential unless you have the space or resources to grow giants! In a Mediterranean or hot climate the plants can still reach up to 2,50 meters in containers if they are planted in June (northern hemisphere) and left unpruned. If a moderate size is desired, we recommend timing the planting season to allow for just one month vegetative growth. During this vegetative period pruning the main growing tip once should be sufficient. Too much pruning can backfire with landrace Sativas, especially in container cultivation, and decrease yield. So don’t be tempted to cut your plants down to a bonsai! White Bhutanese responds well to LST (low stress training) and, once you have figured out how to handle her size, she is otherwise very easy to grow and not fussy. Trimming the bottom shoots further simplifies plant care and increases the strength of the upper branches. White Bhutanese grows well in quality horticultural grade potting soil, but still requires additional feedings during flowering if grown in containers. Due to her vigour, size, and length of flowering time, sufficient nutrients should be provided over the full life cycle.

The Bhutanese landraces are extremely hardy and not prone to hermaphrodites. Both the mother genetics and White Bhutanese were stress-tested and found to be highly resistant. Keeping your plants as healthy as possible will further ensure a safe and great harvest. Trichome production is impressive. But don’t hold your breath waiting for them to turn amber! The wonderfully clear to slightly milky resin is a trademark of White Bhutanese. Time your harvest according to the strain details, the natural decrease in bud development and, of course, the weather forecast.

Outdoor Harvest: late October - November
Height: +2,5 meters

Rare Landrace

The DRC is one of the biggest producers of marijuana in Africa yet the genetics are rarely available outside of the country. With our easy to grow feminised hybrid you can get a taste of this special equatorial Sativa. White Magic is a very versatile strain with high mold resistance. She can be cultivated in tropical to warm temperate environments up to 45°N. The plants withstand heat and have been stress-tested up to 48°C/118°F in a greenhouse. Cultivators in regions with a constant photoperiod or high humidity should especially consider growing this strain. The plants have relatively long internodes, which has to be taken into account when growing in containers or a greenhouse. Late planting and pruning is recommended if a moderate size is desired.

The Congo landrace typically grows huge foxtail colas that extend outwards like tentacles. That wild side may still shine through in some of the White Magic females. But most plants typically grow denser colas with a cone-shaped tip. And that creamy coating of resin puts a smile on any growers face. Once you see the flowering colas glistening in the sun you will know why she is called “white”! Clear to slightly milky resin is typical right up to the end. During flowering you will find yourself engulfed in a sweet smell when you brush against the plants. Freshly harvested buds can also emit a peppery smell that is so typical of African strains, but this tends to disappear later during curing. The high is a creative-intellectual awakening with an electric edge. This is a very active buzz that leaves you functional and motivated. The cannabinoid profile is nicely balanced and allows you to indulge on a cerebral Sativa trip without worrying about negative side effects like a racy heart. Just enjoy the ride and let her do her magic!

We recommend timing the planting season to allow for approx. one month vegetative growth. In a Mediterranean or hot climate, plant height averages between 1,70 to 2,10 meters in containers, if they are planted in June (northern hemisphere) and left unpruned. White Magic responds well to LST (low stress training) and she is generally easy to grow. Trimming the bottom shoots further simplifies plant care and increases the strength of the upper branches. Profuse lateral branching needs to be supported or trained. This strain grows well in quality horticultural grade potting soil, but still requires additional feedings during flowering if grown in containers. Sufficient nutrients should be provided over the full life cycle.

Great Price-Quality Offer

With this strain we offer a connoisseur quality smoke at an amazing price. Chill-OM is also a good beginner strain, delivering a satisfying yield with just basic plant care. It has all the benefits of hybrid vigour, nutrient efficiency, and the versatility of growing well under many different cultivation methods. Best results can be expected under a good light source such as HPS lamps, because the sativa genetics in this strain do require sufficient light intensity for abundant flowering and THC production. Chill-OM grows thick stems and has well-defined, yet space saving, branching to provide excellent cuttings. It is also perfect for sea of green or close planting. This strain shows some phenotype variation that is mainly expressed in plant height during flowering.

Chill-OM easily compensates the lack of uniformity in plant height with its exceptional top-grade marijuana. The buds are dense and have great 'bag appeal'. When crushed in a grinder, an interesting aromatic blend of frankincense and sage arises from the sticky buds. The smoke is smooth and rich, with a minty aftertaste on the exhale that leaves a pleasant freshness on the tongue like peppermint gum. Chill-OM strikes a perfect balance between potency and everyday enjoyability. After a quick cerebral onset it triggers the feel-good physical sensations. The high then reaches an even and motivating stone that is pleasantly relaxing, yet leaves you with enough energy for socializing or doing something creative. This marijuana can be fun for gaming, hanging out with friends. or watching a good movie. It's vibe is sensual and playful, enhancing the pleasure in whatever you are doing. As the name suggests, Chill-OM is perfect for laid-back hours and leaves a state ot wellbeing behind. Have fun and chill out!

The tallest females will be the best choice as mother plants if you are aiming for maximum yield. They can also produce bumper crops outdoor - with long central colas that resemble a giant bong. Shorter females are excellent for small spaces, or for the balcony in regions with warm temperate or hot summers. Of course, you can easily modify height by pruning down a tall plant, or raising a shorter one with an upturned container. If you are growing Chill-OM indoor from seed you should not exceed the 4 week vegetative period in soil. This will prevent issues with the unpruned plants of the taller pheno since growth is fast and strong. The max. height of a tall female under these conditions will be around 150cm/4.9 feet under 400-600W HPS. Pest and mold resistance is good and outdoor plants have survival capabilities against harsher weather from wind or storms due to their robustness. Please consult the Outdoor Guide on our website which regions are best.

Takes You 8 Miles High

This is a fragrant, uplifting sativa that delivers quality harvests indoor & outdoor. Special attention was devoted to making this variety a low-maintenance plant that finishes by mid-October in northern climates. Flowering sets in quickly with most plants sexing within one week of switching to 12/12. Another positive feature is the fast and profuse resin production during early flowering that rewards your efforts right from the start. 8 Miles High has proven to be very reliable under various environmental stress factors such as abrupt changes in light and temperature. Plants can therefore be moved from indoor and planted out with no adverse effects. This strain is easy to grow and has no special requirements. It has shown good mold resistance and grows well in soil with minimal extra feeding, making it a good choice for growers with little experience or not much time on their hands.

8 Miles High has a great calyx-to-leaf ratio and slim leaves that make trimming the buds a quick job. Resiny bud production throughout the plant from top to bottom guarantees a quality harvest. The aromatic properties of this strain are delightfully diverse and feature the rare trait of strawberry fragrance. During flowering a slight brush against the plants releases a wonderful sweetness with an earthy undertone. This delicate aroma is followed by the more dominant piney freshness. As the plants mature you can also detect whiffs of a sweet lemonade scent. Cured buds retain the piney-minty smell but, in addition, there is a variety of delicious aromas ranging from strawberry, melon, to hash-candy. The smoke has a fresh minty taste and lingering sweetness to it. 8 Miles High lifts off straight to the head and triggers a lot of cerebral activity, with flashes of insights and long episodes of trippy visuals when you close your eyes and switch to auto pilot. This is a functional daytime smoke, or a wake-up call to keep you on your feet partying at night. The uplifting, almost euphoric, effect sets in once you reach maximum altitude. This energetic sativa glides back down smoothly and leaves an expansive feeling behind.

The indica-type females have minimum branching, medium tall growth, and are excellent for small spaces or cultivation in close rows. The sativa-leaning pheno can be grown as a multi-stem plant or trained if this is your preferred method of cultivation. It has longer branching due to the extended internodes and exhibits great potential as a big producer outdoor. For a sea of green set-up in hydro both phenos can be used. In hydro we recommend pruning the bottom branches on the sativa-leaning females so that all energy is focused on the long central cola.

One Cola Wonder

We recreated our exotic, high-class indica-sativa hybrid "Yamuna" from the "Limited Collector’s Edition", which was issued in our first year, and crossed it with our best Afghan parent from seed stock collected in the 1980’s. The result is an impressive stout plant oozing with resin that grows like an indica and feels like a sativa. Ganesh is an excellent choice for closet cultivation or a homebox due to it’s short stature and the even growth pattern. Plants vegged for 3 weeks in soil reach a height of approx. 60cm when mature. To harvest a field of "baseball bat" type colas in regular sized grow spaces we suggest vegging 4-5 weeks for organic (soil) cultivation. Ganesh grows perfectly with little or no feeding in quality soil (but it really has to be good soil!).

The dense and crystalline buds have a rich, skunky smell that underlines the top quality of the smoke. A heavy-duty grinder is recommended for these chunky buds! The taste evokes the times of the finest Himalayan hash in the 1970’s - sweet and earthy with a chocolatey finish. Ganesh combines the best of both worlds: it’s dense, glittery indica nuggets have great ‘bag appeal’ and the sativa-dominant high leaves you functional, social, yet relaxed. It’s a great smoke for fun activities like a beach party; lying in your hammock and watching the sunlight flash through the trees; sensual leisure or bodywork such as massage, yoga, Tai-Chi; and all kinds of creativity.

Our unique combination of landrace genetics injects a lot of vigour into this strain and the thick shoots from mother plants provide quality cuttings over an extended period. Due to the extreme density of the buds approx. 20-25% of the plants show some mold susceptibility in the top third portion of the head bud in the last week of flowering. Therefore, this strain is best grown in spaces with humidity control (extraction fan, ventilation, night temp. above 20°C or 68F). You should also water sparsely in the last week of flowering. Wait until the plants have slightly droopy leaves and give them just enough for their daily requirement. This is a tried and tested method for strains with dense buds and very effective. A daily check of the top half or top third portion of the head bud during this period lets you detect mold early before it can cause any damage. Growing with clones, SCROG, and pruned plants (indoor/outdoor) is not affected by a higher mold susceptibility.

Old School Classic

Hashberry needs little introduction. It created quite a stir in the cannabis community, was soon chosen as a High Times 'Top 10' strain by popular choice, and is still going strong. With this exceptional strain we offer growers an indica that combines the best of many traits. Hashberry is the unique result from a rigorous selection of desirable parents, with special attention paid to preserve the hybrid vigour our strains are so valued for. Its incredible power established a reputation as being 'hard to kill'. This strain grows to a medium height, is a good choice where space matters, and excellent for SOG. Hashberry not only has hybrid vigour but is also very heat resistant and easy to grow.

Hashberry develops a tight and heavy head bud with dense flowers along firm side shoots. Outdoor she grows into short, broad and bushy 'trees' with incredibly heavy colas that challenge any scale. Supersize bumper crops are possible in temperate to hot climates, a greenhouse, or a warm and dry autumn further up north. Excellent indoor 'cash crop' potential as well in all substrates. Very rewarding yields can be expected in hydroponic gardens.

Many plants cover their bud leaves with THC glands and this trim will fill your pollinator or bubble bags generously. Hashberry still remains easy to manicure and the dried buds have great 'bag appeal'. The buds reveal a refreshing fruity-floral scent during flowering. After proper drying and curing their fragrance transforms into a delicious hashy-berry aroma. The soothing indica high has long become a favourite among stoners and medical users alike.

Great POTential for Sativa Lovers

Kalichakra is named after the Indian goddess Kali (a consort of the ganja smoking Lord Shiva) and combines unique landrace genetics from South India and the Golden Triangle. Unlike typical sativas she grows extremely well indoor and has been known to perform satisfactorily even under low light. She is surprisingly adaptable, easy to grow, and a good choice for novice gardeners. We recommend this strain for SCROG and nearly all plants can be easily fitted into a SOG (sea of green) space despite the branchy growth. Due to the low odour this is a good choice as a "stealth strain" for discreet cultivation.

Kalichakra grows fat conical shaped buds that usually peak in towers of calyxes. The calyx-to-leaf ratio is exceptionally good and makes harvesting very quick and simple. The phenotype with the long head bud dominating the plant is a "keeper" (good choice as mother plant or breeding) for highest yields. This sativa has good mold resistance thanks to our dedicated breeding goals in minimizing undesirable genetic traits. Up to 45°N Kalichakra can deliver high yields outdoor and is one of the best strains available for hot, warm-temperate and tropical zones. In far northern climates we recommend a greenhouse. Results and harvest time will depend on plant care and local weather.

A sweet-minty taste accompanies most of the fragrant buds. The high is smooth and starts up leasurely. It is especially well suited for persons sensitive to a racy heart or anxiety. Kalichakra can have a very positive mood-enhancing effect which gives you a sunnier outlook on life. A warm and relaxed bodily sensation is not uncommon in combination with the functional, social high. It’s a great daytime smoke for all kinds of activities, but also helps you lie back and relax whenever you feel like it. You could call it balanced yin-yang ganja that unites the best of both worlds.

With 4 weeks vegetative growth indoor under 400W HPS/m2 in quality soil the height of the plants averages between 100-120 cm. More than half tend to grow around the 100 cm mark. Plant height can be easily controlled by choosing a shorter vegetative time or pruning the top bud. The plants grow in a typical sativa style with a christmas tree shape and medium to long internodes. Some may need support towards the end of flowering, to support the heavy buds, if the plant has not been pruned or is not standing in close rows in a SOG setting. To maximize yield and strengthen upper branches it can be useful to remove the branches at the bottom 2-3 internodes on plants from seed before switching to the 12/12 light cycle. Although you can harvest after 68 days some plants from seed may still develop fatter buds for an extra week (clones tend to finish earlier). You can reduce the light cycle by an hour prior to harvest to speed up flowering if you are in a hurry.

Mother plants provide abundant clones. The cuttings can be placed into flowering early for cultivating shorter plants on a hydroponics table, in a Homebox, etc., or to decrease flowering time. In hydroponics rapid growth can be expected and with CO2 enhancement in the air you can harvest huge bumper crops (adjust the EC of your nutrient solution to a higher level when using CO2).

Kalichakra responds well to being tied down and can grow an impressively large main cola from the even light distribution. However, due to the open growth pattern light tends to pass through to all flowering shoots. Therefore you don’t have to tie down the plant unless you unexpectedly run into problems with height or have a very poor light source.
